We have had a busy few weeks at Newhall Park packed with different Christmas activities.
Christmas lunch was on 12th December which coincided with Christmas Jumper day. School raised over £100 for the charity Save the Children.
There have been three fantastic Christmas productions. EYFS put a concert together for parents which we all really enjoyed. They had learned 7 songs which they performed for us beautifully.
Key Stage 1 and Year 5 both put on productions. They invited the rest of the school to watch their dress rehearsals and then performed for parents earlier this week.
Key Stage 1 did a nativity. All the children joined in brilliantly with the singing. There were solos, speaking parts and dancing. It was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who saw it, including myself.
Year 5 transported us to Pantoland. The children worked well together. They had a lot to learn and a lot to remember but it all came together. They even had an input in the scenery which was great.
A massive thank you to all the staff involved and for all their hard work.
All classes have had a Christmas party. It has been lovely to see the children enjoying traditional party games.
Best wishes for the holidays from all of us at Newhall Park.
