As we draw to the end of this half term it is beginning to feel very autumnal. Let’s hope that we will get some lovely, bright autumn days over the holiday next week.
The children have settled well into this academic year. Newhall Park is a very positive place to be and to work. It was lovely to see so many of you at Parents’ Evening this week. A number of you spoke to me about the Learning Environment and how impressed you are with it which was fantastic to hear. Hopefully you will have seen the QR codes around the building and will have had the chance to complete the Parent Questionnaire. Your views are really important to us so if you haven’t already completed the Questionnaire please follow the link below and complete it now.
On Thursday 24th October we welcomed parents of children in Rabbit class into school for a class assembly. This was the first of many. All classes in school will be doing one. The assembly was all about migration. The children and teachers have worked really hard to put it together. Well done Rabbit class, you have set the bar very high.
Have a lovely half term everyone and remember school re-opens on Monday 4th November.
'We attended parents evening and we were really amazed by the staff organisation and students descpline was fantastic. Very positive atmosphere. Teachers thoroughly walked us through the progress our year 6 son is making and the year 6 teachers even surprised our 4 year old daughter the following day! Absolutely made her day when they asked her how to spell her name. This delighted her so much she's still raving "excited" about it to this day! Our daughter started nursery and we really got a little nervous about how she'd settle down, but her nursery teachers and support staff have taken great care of her thank you! A big thank you to the headteacher, teachers and support staff members!'
